ACCS back for 2026

The Australian Children’s Content Summit returns to the New South Wales Coffs Coast this August for four days of connection and collaboration.

The ACCS, Australia’s only dedicated marketplace and summit for children’s and family screen content, will run from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August, presented by SLR Productions with the ACTF returning as Principal Partner and Screen Australia and Screen NSW back as Major Government Partners.

International featured guests include Mediacorp’s Assistant Lead Strategic Partnerships & Kids Barry Toa, ITV Content Acquisitions Manager: Kids, Film and Partnerships Tyler Martin, Tiger Aspect Kids & Family Managing Director Tom Beattie, and Kids YouTube & Streaming Specialist Emily Horgan.

Australian featured guests include ABC Children and Family Head Melinda Wearne, NITV Senior Commissioning Editor Cieron Cody and NITV Commissioning Editor Joseph Meldrum. The event will be hosted by Emma Watkins, known for her ARIA award-winning musical children's show 'Emma Memma'.

Now in its fourth year, the ACCS has firmly established itself as Australia’s premier platform for the children’s and family content industry to network, collaborate, share insights and build significant business relationships, offering delegates the chance to connect with producers, creators, writers, directors, buyers, distributors, investors, screen agencies and policymakers.

SLR Productions CEO and Australian Children’s Content Summit Founder Suzanne Ryan said: “Children’s and family content is one of Australia’s most powerful creative assets. The Australian Children’s Content Summit proudly backs our own market, bringing together the full ecosystem from emerging voices to global industry leaders within one friendly, welcoming and highly connected marketplace.”

ACTF CEO Jenny Buckland said: “The ACTF is proud to support ACCS again. Why? Because rapid change is reshaping our industry, and none of us can navigate change in a vacuum. No matter who you are, if you’re interested in kids' screen content on any platform, there is something new to learn and someone new to meet at ACCS.”

Screen Australia Director of Narrative Content Louise Gough said: “Our local children’s content continues to set an international benchmark for creativity, shaping content that inspires, challenges and delights young viewers and their families everywhere. Initiatives such as Screen Australia and ACTF’s digital-focused Kids IP Incubator often arise from the collaboration and inspiration created at events like The Australian Children’s Content Summit. The event plays a vital role in our screen ecosystem.”

Earlybird tickets to the ACCS are available here until 1 June 2026.
